Hello Rancho Cucamonga Chamber!

We hope everyone has been doing well in 2009.  California Healthy Home has been doing very well.  We had a profitable December and January.  Some of our good business is in part due to the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber and quality referrals.

At the BCN meeting Thursday morning we had a great discussion about helping each other's business.  The business overlap was interesting.  At our table  we had two accountants, Denise Vasquez from Kerkstra Tax, and Festus Ademorijimi of Crown Tax, two carpet cleaners Larry and Eric from California Healthy Home and Jose from Esmerio Master Carpet Care .  What was great was that instead of being competitive, both groups genuinely worked well together.  That is the true spirit of the Chamber.  Our group was rounded off with Brent Bruce of Allied Home Mortgage Capital Corp., Sandra Rutherford of Camp Fire USA and Andy Rubel from Cardio Fit.

The group decided that we all have clients that trust our judgement.  To maximize our own connections and those of our peers we need to communicate with each other and develop relationships so that we feel comfortable referring our fellow chamber members to our clients and not fear that it will negatively impact our reputation.

The idea I liked is to work together by contacting all of our own clients with a newsletter and include 10 other companies information with inserts provided by our networking group.  We would send out a newsletter to our contact list and include a small flier from 10 companies that we trust and mail them to our own clients who trust us.  Then those 10 companies would reciprocate and allow us to put an insert in their promotional mailing to their contact list.  Many potential clients are contacted at a minimal cost with reliable businesses.  The client benefits with great referral information and all companies benefit with more business.  Just an idea.

  The Vortex

This is our new Vortex!  We are very proud of our new carpet and tile cleaning truck mount.  The Vortex is the most powerful truck mounted system available and we bought it to do the best job possible.  The temperature, pressure, and suction is the greatest to get the dirt from carpets, tile and grout.

A huge benefit is DRYER carpets is 1/2 the time.

All of our clients were asking for dryer carpets so we went out and got the best!

  Thanks to...

We never get enough time to thank everyone we need to at these meetings!

So here we go.

  • Thanks Sandra Rutherford of Camp Fire USA for helping me find a camp for my kids.  I need to get rid of them for a while this summer and I think your camp might work.

  • We will have our name all over the Vortex as soon as Brian Daley from Expect A Lot is done with the Nascar season.  His expertise and judgement is worth the wait.

 Around Town

We just bumped into Mike Bailey of Ameriprise Financial Svcs.,Inc. at lunch and met his father Sam.  They were so covered in barbecue sauce that they could barely talk.  It is always nice to see Mike and his Dad is a very nice gentleman.

We saw Dawn Kasnick of United Way and her husband Brock out at dinner.  She said she enjoyed our newsletters, thanks Dawn.

We also saw Ryan Orr of First American Title Company and his brother-in-law Shane Hurley at lunch last week.  Shane has a business West Coast Building Supply that is up and coming.  If you need to get bulding supplies cheaper with better service contact Shane.  I talked to Ryan a few times this month on the phone, he always has other peoples interests in mind.  He also has a great Real Estate meeting every Friday morning in the same room as BCN.  Check it out.

 More Vortex

How do we get such great dry times?  It all comes down to the size and strength of the vacuum blower.  The diagram below shows the standard blower size of most van truck mounts.

The yellow #6 blower gives us the ability to put twice the water down on the carpet (which really helps the cleaning process) and still get the carpets drier than the competition.

A picture is worth a 1000 words.

We hope you enjoyed our newsletter.  If we forgot you we apologize.  You can kick Eric when you see him.

Please let us know if you would like us to add anything to the newsletter.  The more the merrier!
