Hello Rancho
Cucamonga Chamber Members!
|
|
Hello Larry,
I hope this email finds you well.
Shamrock Cleaning and Restoration has been doing great his past
month. We have secured our share of restoration work and
are growing our new business model at a nice pace. I hope
everyone else has been doing as well.
I recently came across an
ad on google news about Rancho Cucamonga being a top five
candidate to receive a 1 gigabit fiber-optic network from Google, http://www.pcworld.com/ article/192647/google_fiber_candidates_top_5_desperate_cities.html.
What this means is that they will bring a broadband network
to town that will offer internet speeds up to a hundred times
faster to the community. That would be a great asset for Rancho
Cucamonga.
There is a link in the city's website, http://www.rcrda.us/index.aspx?NID=385,
where you can support the cause and give your input.

Great Business Building Book
|
|
Denise Lutz, of The Entrepreneur's Source, suggested a book last year and it took me about half of the
year to get around to reading it. The book is the E-Myth
Revisited by Michael Gerber. I wish I had read it sooner.
The
book explains, through a story about a struggling business owner, how
to set your business up for success. The ideas presented by
Michael Gerber have changed the way we think about our business.
He explains why we need to work on our business not in it.
The whole idea has been difficult but the results are wonderful.
I checked
the book out of the library and Eric bought a copy. Do what ever
you need to but read this book. Let us know what you think
too! Good luck.

A Few Fun Facts about
Einstein… - When Albert
Einstein died, his final words died with him. The nurse at his side
didn’t understand German.
- Albert Einstein was once offered the
Presidency of Israel. He declined, saying he had no head for problems.
- Einstein was not present in December 1922 to
receive the Nobel Prize in physics. Instead he was on a voyage to Japan.
- A simple compass is the instrument that shaped
Einstein’s career. His father gave it to him while he was sick in bed
at the age of 5. His curiosity in the unknown thus began.
- In the period before World War II. Albert
Einstien was so well known in America that he would routinely be stopped
on the street by people wanting him to explain “that theory” to them.
He finally figured out a way to handle the incessant inquiries: he told
his inquirers, “Pardon me, so sorry! Always I am mistaken for
Professor Einstein.”

Dry Carpets Even When There Is Rain Outside!
Remember we dry out carpets after a flood,
drying them out after we clean them is much easier. Do not wait to
have your carpets cleaned if you are concerned about the rain.

rejuvenate." The benefits of massage therapy on a regular basis
are medically encouraged. Stop by Massage Envy and see how

such a great financial institution we should all get loans

yet so she came out to collect my check. I did not even get
to the door. How wonderful is Kitty.
